I just saw this on google news:

Maybe I'm a loser but one of the things I've always liked about Nintendo was overall the layout of the controller was the same dating back to the days of the original NES. Admittedly they've added buttons through the ages but the basics were always there. This new controller is wierd, and all I can say right now is 'No sir, I don't like it.'

looks... interesting... I'd give it a try. It's hard to think outside the current incarnation of two-handed controllers. I posted a while back (http://duanekeys.blogspot.com/2005/05/i-fancy-myself-student-of-design.html) out the evolution of controllers, I don't see that this one has any precedessors.

It'll most likely be the best thing since sliced bread...but that don't mean I have to like it.....I think what I find unappealing about it the most is the add on thing for your other hand....seems odd to me.
